The GLTplus Consortium is responsible for design, construction and maintenance of NAM-locations in Groningen.
The project includes all modifications, adaptations and maintenance of the NAM locations following on from the NAM GLT project.
Having formed a multidisciplinary consortium, in which NAM took the principle of 'hands off, eyes on', optimal cooperation between parties was a must. The consortium was also responsible for the design. 'Construction driven’ engineering has resulted in numerous optimisations being applied and major cost savings being made. A lot of attention has been paid to safety and quality.
The alliance contract gives a lot of room for innovations and optimizations by means of incentives. Process control, in addition to high-quality work, is the key word.
GLTplus is a consortium formed by Siemens DDH, Siemens, Yokogawa, Stork SISe / Visser & Smit Bouw and Jacobs Engineering. Visser & Smit Bouw is in this case the nominated subcontractor with full contractual back-to-back accountability and obligations.
