The project

The project involved the construction of a storage tank facility (2250sqm) and a new cheese factory (12 540sqm).

Details

  • Special consideration was given to pedestrian movement and the employees parking
  • Several cost savings have been found and alternative constructions proposed
  • BubbleDeck floors (first floor tank facility and visitors gallery)
  • Many sustainable materials are used.

The new cheese factory enables to process more milk into cheese. The new factory will also produce artisan cheese using traditional methods and equipment. During the construction of the new facilities the current factory remaind active. To allow time to optimise the production process the current factory still remains active for another 12 to 18 months once the new facility is operational.
