New VIP Lounge

New VIP lounge in Terminal 3. This lounge replaced the space in the adjacent hall because it no longer met the safety requirements.

The project

The work consisted of the construction of a new entrance building to the Royal VIP lounge at the head of Terminal West at Schiphol and building facility spaces in the existing Mezzanine in Terminal West at Schiphol. For the Interior design only Dutch designers were approached: Jongerius, Piet Hein Eek, Marcel Wanders, Joep van Lieshout and Studio Job.

This project was delivered by VolkerWessels Bouw Schiphol (a trading name of Visser & Smit Bouw bv).
