Design & Build of the refurbishment of the existing power plant to supply district heating to Almere.

The project

The civil scope of the project comprised of:

  • Design and building a new two storey Pumphouse;
  • Design and build pipe bridges;
  • Design and build transformers;
  • Small renovation works;
  • Foundations and steel constructions.

 

Scope E/I and P/lL:

  • Design/delivery/Assembly of all the necessary equipment (hydraulic; E/I; automation);
  • Design and build (new construction and renovation) of piping systems;
  • Design and laying all E/I/Auto infrastructure.

 

By means of an operational intervention a maintenance shutdown was made possible in September 2011.
