Quality upgrade of car park P1

Schiphol

Car park P1 is located in the heart of Schiphol Centre and has undergone a quality upgrade.

The project

The project was carried out in six stages and in such a way that as many parking spaces as possible could be retained during the works.

 

The project consist of:

  • waterproofing of the roof (approx. 40 000sqm);
  • replacing the joint sealants between prefab TT-beams;
  • coating the floors (about 106 000sqm);
  • painting columns, walls and ceilings (about 222 000sqm);
  • coordinating three subcontractors (two installers and one structural)

 

Structural (maintenance) work for Car Park P1 part E0/E-1/new location for car rental companies and Maintenance Upgrade P1 A0-B0 were already completed.

Main Contractor

This project has been delivered by VolkerWessels Bouw Schiphol (a trading name of Visser & Smit Bouw bv).
