The Haagsche Zwaan

The Hague

The project consisted of the construction of an office building and a split level parking garage. The car park consists of six floors, three of which are underground. The car park has a capacity of about 190 cars.

The project

The Haagsche Zwaan is characterised by the inner-city character; the building was realised in the immediate vicinity of the A12/Utrechtsebaan and partly lies above the tunnel of the Utrechtsebaan. The site was very cramped and sat next to a 25kv Eneco cable route. This made the project logistics extremely challenging.

The building has three floors below ground and 20 floors above ground (total 27 341sqm). The Haagsche Zwaan has a height of 74m and is characterized by a 12m overhanging façade.
